Desktop Deployment Planning Services

What could you do if you had more time?
If you are like most companies, one of your largest IT costs is in managing desktops – deploying, supporting, managing, and maintaining an infrastructure that empowers workers to be as effictive as possible.  To be competitive, workers must easily work through mobile devices, desktop computers, and laptops. You know that successfully deploying your infrastructure adds a lot to your bottom line, but the process consumes time, money and staff.

Inetium offers a Desktop Deployment Planning service that introduces advanced techniques, processes, and tools so that you can provide the most up to date  desktop environment in the most cost effective manner.

What is the Desktop Deployment Planning Service?
Inetium will take you through an assessment that utilizes best practices to understand your specific environment and business needs. The result of the assessment is a plan for a seamless transformation of your desktop management  environment.

What is the process?
The discovery session: Inetium will send out a pre-engagement questionnaire to key individuals in your organization and conduct a full assessment of your desktop environment so that we can completely understand your needs from both a technical and business standpoint.

The customer presentation: we will meet with your team to talk through the findings of the discovery session and begin to dig deeper into what technologies you have in place and assess how well it is meeting your needs. This is also where we introduce the team to the  the full process while educating on the types of technologies that are possible. This session helps people begin to think differently and understand the potential.

The architecture design session: we will then outline critical technical aspects of desktop deployment such as security, software, and network designs, and how new technology will integrate with the existing environment.

The strategy briefing and technical drill-down session: Inetium will define the vision for achieving your particular technical and business goals. We will demonstrate the value of migrating applications and lowering costs through automated deployment and desktop management, and discuss the features and business benefits of deploying the needed Microsoft products. The goal of this session is to give your team a clear understanding of the issues you could encounter and agree on fundamental planning decisions.

A proof of concept lab: here we demonstrate the potential outcomes you can experience with the right automations.

The Customized Deployment Plan: Inetium summarizes the process by presenting a plan that captures your specific needs and proposed solutions, and the value of making the changes.

How to get started?
You may be eligible to receive funding for the planning session from Microsoft based upon your licensing and software assurance agreements. Please check with Microsoft to see if you are eligible or contact Inetium directly and we can talk through the process.
