Ridgeview Medical Center and Inetium Win
eHealthcare Leadership Awards
2007 Silver Award for Best Overall Internet Site and
Silver Award for Best Intranet Site (RidgeNet)
MINNEAPOLIS (November 30, 2007)—For the second consecutive year, eHealthcare Strategies and Trends awarded Ridgeview Medical Center two eHealthcare Leadership Awards. Ridgeview partnered with Inetium, a Minneapolis-based technology and web strategies consulting company, to design and develop the Web sites, which they were honored for at the eleventh annual Healthcare Internet Conference in Las Vegas.
This year, Ridgeview won the 2007 Silver Award for Best Overall Internet Site for hospitals with under 200 beds. Ridgeview was also given a Silver Award for Best Intranet (internal) Site for hospitals with under 200 beds.
“We are honored to receive this public acknowledgement as many people have worked hard to make these sites a reality. The internal Web site award is particularly special because this is the first time it has been recognized at the national level,” said Laurie Cole, Director of Library & Web Services at Ridgeview and who also attended and accepted the awards at the Las Vegas conference.
“Having our public Web site recognized as the best overall internet site is an honor, as well. These two Web site awards reflect Inetium’s experience and a commitment throughout Ridgeview to support online goals,” said Cole.
Through Ridgeview’s public web site, the public and patients are able to request customized health information or material regarding a specific condition, visit CarePages – a personalized Web site for patients and their families, apply for a job, find a physician or clinic and much more.
