        Ridgeview Foundation Board of Directors Elects Two New Members

Waconia, Minn. (March 31, 2008)—Katherine Hackett, MD and Keith Rachey have been elected to the Ridgeview Foundation Board of Directors. 

Dr. Hackett, a pediatrician at Lakeview Clinic, Ltd. is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School and did her internship and residency at the University of Minnesota Pediatrics Program. She is board certified in pediatrics, with special interests in developmental and behavioral pediatrics, learning differences and children with special needs. She was selected as one of the “Top Doctors in the Twin Cities” in Mpls. St. Paul magazine’s 2007 and 2008 listing.

“As a pediatrician, my passion is children’s health care and I truly believe in and support Ridgeview Foundation’s Transforming Lives Campaign*,which includes fundraising for a new Center for Women & Children at Ridgeview that will help us meet our needs. I have the pleasure of knowing how this Center will take our services for women and children to new levels.  It’s the power of philanthropy that allows Ridgeview to develop and maintain the highest level of facilities and technologies necessary to support a regional medical center,” said Dr. Hackett.

Dr. Hackett has been very supportive of Ridgeview Foundation by hosting events and speaking at gatherings in support of the Transforming Lives Campaign.

Dr. Hackett lives in Excelsior with her husband Richard.

Keith Rachey, president of Inetium, LLC., a Pohlad family company, is devoted to solving business challenges by aligning the right technology strategy. His passion founded Inetium in October 1998 with the mission of being a leading provider of information technology strategy, solutions and services. Prior to starting Inetium, Keith spent more than 10 years in various leadership roles at General Mills. 

“Like Inetium, Ridgeview has and continues to grow and prosper. I am extremely impressed by their innovation, quality and commitment to providing the best possible health care to the communities they serve. I am honored to be a part of the Foundation Board and help continue their notable fundraising toward new facilities, technologies and more,” said Rachey.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Rachey is an active member of the information technology services community and serves on the boards of many prominent volunteer organizations.

Rachey and his wife LuAnn live in Waconia and have two children.

Ridgeview Foundation promotes philanthropy and builds relationships to support Ridgeview Medical Center’s mission to make a positive difference in the quality of life and health for the west-suburban communities served.
